Eligibility - Population(s) Served
Volunteer Driver Program: Cancer patients in active treatment or have received treatment in the last 12 months. Travel Treatment Fund: Low-income cancer patients in active treatment or have received treatment in the last 6 months.

Fees
Volunteer Driver Program: Annual $100 registration fee for patients 18 years and older. Compassionate assessment program available for fee reduction.

Description of Services:
Volunteer Driver Program: Volunteer drivers provide transportation for patients to and from treatment appointments at designated hospitals and cancer centers. Referral for the service must be received by the Cancer Society from a member of the hospital treatment team to access the program.

Travel Treatment Fund: The Travel Treatment Fund offers short-term financial assistance to offset some costs of travelling to cancer treatments.
