Description of Services:
138-bed retirement home
Short stay temporary care (i.e. convalescent, respite (caregiver relief), vacation) when space permits (available in secured unit if necessary) * private and semi-private rooms
Basic services include:
24-hour nursing staff
bathing
medication administration
meals
housekeeping and laundry
social and recreational programs
Additional services and facilities:
physiotherapy and foot care
hair care and tuck shop
5.5 landscaped acres
Provides three levels of retirement care:
Independent Living - Basic services
Supportive Living - Basic services plus additional nursing care for residents who need extra help with mobility, continence and other activities of daily living
Early Memory Loss Living - 28-bed secure unit to provide security and support for early to mid dementia residents * uses programming and cueing for activities of daily living * residents must be ambulatory, continent and able to participate in daily activities
